Gov. Jay Nixon today visited Three Rivers College to announce nearly $2 million in improvements and renovations. The projects are being made possible through Building Affordability, an initiative proposed by the Governor in collaboration with public colleges and universities and passed with bi-partisan support in the General Assembly this year.

"Investing in our colleges and universities allow these institutions to continue offering a great education while avoiding the skyrocketing tuition hikes seen in other states," Gov. Nixon said. "Our $200 million Building Affordability initiative is a significant investment in higher education and a lasting investment in our future workforce."
